PRESENTATIONS
· Presentation format is left to the discretion of the speakers. Presenters should keep in mind that they are presenting at a technical conference and that there will be ample opportunity to market their products and services in the exhibit area. The Conference Committee will review papers and presentations prior to the Conference for excessive marketing-oriented content.
· Presentations, including Q & A, will last 30 minutes. Please adhere to this time limit.
· Presentations should be sent to the session moderator by September 10, 2010 in electronic format All presentations should be saved on a CD and sent directly to your session moderator.
· Presentations will be run on a PC and projector supplied by the TPO Conference. Your presentation will be pre-loaded on the PC and ready to project at the time of your presentation. You may NOT use your own PC. This disrupts the flow of the conference.
· Recommended font size is 24 point or larger for presentations, as some of your audience will be a good distance from the screen.
· If you wish to show a videotape, projector slides or other media, you must contact Norm Kakarala prior to August 27, 2010 to make the appropriate arrangements.
· Speakers are responsible for confirming the moderator has received the final presentation prior to the beginning of the conference. Speakers are also responsible for bringing a back-up copy of their presentation on CD and on overhead transparencies in the unlikely event of equipment problems. The TPO Conference will supply a transparency projector as a back-up to the electronic system.
· You may preview the facilities and your presentation at the Best Western Sterling Inn, Sterling Heights, Michigan during the reception on October 3, 2010.
